Being part of the system of
national economy, this institution is affected by all local and global
changes and developments. This requires the restructuring of the bank, in
accordance with the requirements of globalization and the international
standards of banking system as well as enabling the bank to face the
challenges of globalization. Work is in progress, in collaboration with
the EBS electronic banking services
firm in installing and operating the modern Penta-Bank communication
network to link the bank’s head office with branches. The bank now uses
the SWIFT system to conduct transactions with
correpondent banks, and provides clients with the
Shamikh smart-card, to facilitate dealing with client requests
in a time and effort-saving manner |
